I wish you luck on finding your path :). Don’t ever let anyone you that it should be easy - it isn’t. That doesn’t mean life isn’t worth it, that your life isn’t worth it. Even if it might be hard to see, sometimes.

That’s cool, I’m glad for you. Genuinely, I’m hoping someday that I can maneuver myself into a position like yours.
Well, speaking as someone who has processed their own ‘void’ - I came to the conclusion that not referring to it as some spectral thing really helped.
It’s not a void, my Dad was a drunk and I needed him to be my Dad. He wasn’t, and I have to fill in the gaps.
When I started addressing these things as they were, rather than as the unknowable void within my dark soul, they stopped being unknowable voids. Arguably my soul stopped being so dark, as well. Food for thought, YMMV.
What do you do, if you don’t mind my asking?
Well, we can steelman that subcommentary by pointing to blue collar workers in physically rigorous fields. Many blue collar workers are men, do not ask for help despite needing it, and take on jobs that will literally break them. Will they get it done? Maybe, but they sure ain’t no pussy askin’ fer help like a lil’ bitch.
See what I mean? Seems like if you’ve got 5 people, one of them is a bad manager let’s say; you still have 4 people to work on the job. It is, even with the dead weight manager, still more efficient than subtracting the manager + 3 other people. Unless those 3 are also dead weight, however if you somehow gathered that from the comic… kinda seems like projection.
Idk, seems pretty dumb to try and attempt most things solo - but muh rugged individualism, amirite?
Is this trying to say that introverts are stupid? Cuz anyone that tries to do a 4 man job with one person is stupid.
Great change is upon us, there is hope yet.
