Beware that you won’t have ECC, so corruption is much more likely than with proper hardware.

7·1 month agoIt’s not. It’s the “premium” products that have this proprietary bs and branded parts trying to justify the inflated prices. The cheapest printers are all just generic clones with no lock in and mostly generic parts. Practically DIY kits only without the DIY unless something fails.
Is there a good article link or other explanation of this that could be shown to people considering buying one of these devices?
